Accomodations
and Meals
All guests are housed in mountain-style cabins that are very comfortable,
fully carpeted, and totally supervised. Campers are assigned bunks in
either the boys' or girls' cabins. They share space with campers their
own age as well as with their counselors. In addition to daily well-balanced
meals, BBSR professional chef Janice Leach offers fresh fruit, vegetables
and a salad bar.
Staff
Management- Our team includes UCLA Coach Billy Martin and UCLA Director of Tennis Grant Chen.
Coach Martin is in residence at camp. Counselors- They are selected, supervised and trained by Coach
Martin. Our ratio of staff to campers is one to four, and all of our activities are supervised.
Medical
The Bear Valley Community Hospital is ten minutes from the Ranch with
emergency room service available 24 hours a day. Campers are required
to carry their own medical insurance while at camp, and parents must furnish
the BBSR with an authorized medical treatment release form before admission.
Transportation
Limited bus transportation is available. Please refer to camper information
packet for more information.
